Lipstick is one of those beauty products that I think is a beauty bag essential! I own over 100 lipsticks, which is excessive, but we know I’m a bit extra. I think it is one of those things that can give your look an instant upgrade if you’re wearing a face of full makeup or not. The reason I have so many lipsticks is that some days I want to be all about my nudes and crazy colors, the other days I’m all about my matte lipsticks. So with that being said, I wanted to share the matte lipsticks that I seem to be reaching for all the time! The things that all these have in common are; I love the formula, the color payoff, and how that makes me feel 100% that bitch (in my Lizzo voice).
”It’s a powerful concentrate of their most powerful matte formula yet. The lightweight texture applies like an ink pen on lips. Plus, it dries down to lock in a formula for smudge-resistant, carefree wear.”
The colors and the feel have had my heart for the last few year’s! Anyone who has always wanted a great matte lipstick, but have had an issue with liquid lipsticks because they feel dry or just weird, this is the formula for you. It feels so amazing on the lips, and the colors are beautiful! One swipe is all you need for exceptional color payoff and all-day wear.
“It’s an ultra-slim lipstick with a long-wearing, weightless, petal-soft matte finish that orders 24 color-intense shades.”
It’s another go-to matte for me because clearly, all thing matte is my jam right now! I own four tubes and just ordered three more shades since it’s a good soft matte option. The colors are bold, but the feel is lightweight and on the velvety side. These lipsticks are an entire mood! Did I mention that the clapback color I’m wearing above is an Allure Magazine Best of Beauty Award winner for lipstick?
“Make the ultimate lip statement with this concentrated, highly pigmented, lightweight Matte Lipstick. This sensually silky texture glides on the lips and leaves behind a stunning color with just one stroke. Wild mango butter drenches the lips with moisture, allowing you to have matte lips without the drying effect.
This is my newest matte lipstick obsession. When I first saw the samples in the store, I thought, “ these look dry, and the formula is probably awful!” However, I’m glad my thoughts did not keep me from trying it, because I’m in LOVE. It’s a true matte lipstick with a lovely none drying formula; how in the hell did they do that?!?!
